Taped Interviewing Procedure
A properly conducted taped interview has many advantages over contemporaneous note taking - better, more interactive interviews, savings in time, and an incontrovertible record of events.
Failure to follow procedures, however minor, could jeopardise an investigation by rendering the evidence inadmissible.
